Matchday 2: West Ham/Bournemouth

Disclaimer: This series is examining the games days prior to matchday, there is always the possibility for injuries, coach selections, etc. They may be updated to reflect most accurate starting lineup.
West Ham United v.  AFC Bournemouth
Location: London Stadium, London
There seems to be a lot of uncertainty surrounding this match, it’s supposed to be very low scoring, likely less than 2 goals. West Ham is getting the nod as favorites, but just barely, and there isn’t much separating any of the results.
West Ham got destroyed in their opener by a Liverpool side teeming with expensive new signings. I don’t anticipate many results this poor for this West Ham side, and I think they try to right the ship, at home, in this match. While I don’t take anything away from the Liverpool side, West Ham was very poor overall. Anderson was one of the few highlights for this game, and I expect him to build on his performance and likely score his first goal for the side against a Bournemouth side that has been prone to mistakes and only marginal at denying chances.
Bournemouth comes off a decent game against relegation-favorite Cardiff City, resulting in a 2-0 victory for the home side. I am anticipating Bournemouth controlling a large portion of the possession and I think they’ll get at least one goal off of it. However, I think that the propensity for individual mistakes can set them up to suffer under West Ham’s ability to force turnovers and provide good service with some dangerous chances likely to be created.
