Matchday 2: Burnley/Watford

Disclaimer: This series is examining the games days prior to matchday, there is always the possibility for injuries, coach selections, etc. They may be updated to reflect most accurate starting lineup.
Burnley vs. Watford
Location: Turf Moor, Burnley
Burnley comes into this tie as favorites, but only just. The number of goals are only expected at about 2.
To say this Burnley team comes in on a high might be the understatement of the century. They are coming off their first Europa League football in over 50 years and beat Istanbul Basaksehir in the 3rd Qualifying Round. Despite playing midweek, I think that the high will be enough to carry this side through for a victory in this match.
Watford comes into this match off of a 2-0 victory thanks to Roberto Pererya who played out of his mind last week with 2 goals on 2 assists from Jose Holebas. However, I don’t think that form is going to continue against a much stronger opponent this week in Burnley. I expect Watford to have a serious disadvantage in possession, and I think will be enough for Burnley to get the volume of shots they need to get one past the Watford keeper.
